Even when everything is going shit for Max Payne, he cooks up and gets the job done regardless of the challenge, all by himself. Dead people he tried to protect, wife & daughter murdered, getting shot at, guilt & depression, interrogated, used, abused, addicted to opioids, hundreds of miles away from home, every gang wants him dead, robbed, killing a whole mob, killing a whole police force, etc….He really does perform at his best when he’s at his worst points in life, and he manages to be the last man standing in every bad scenario he finds himself in. He has no one to support him, he’s all alone by himself. That’s what makes him bad ass, one single man outnumbered still stands with everything in his life crumbling around him.
