That’s pretty good, I have found places near me in rural NC are maybe a dollar cheaper but wages are much less than SF

You should go to New India Bazaar in Dublin, CA and purchase grocery for $20. The money goes a long way.

$5.50 is a normal price for a latte anywhere now

20 dollars is about 3000 yen, in Tokyo, a cup of latte is less than 500 yen, a croissant is probably the same, that means two lattes and two croissants after, you still have 1000 yen left for two more desserts.

In the midwest you get grits . With corn or corn with Grits. Yourchoice . Only $5.99

That is pretty standard for smaller shops that aren't big chains these days. A lot of them upcharge if you go non-dairy on the milk.

I live in SF. I make my own coffee at home.
Long story/short, each cup comes out to about
25¢ X-4 = $1.00 A DAY... and that includes the
bit of milk, honey, and dash of cinnamon in
each cup. saying.)
