I live in America, I asked white friends why they don't like white skin and do tanning. Lots of them told me, they don't hate white skin. But when someone is tan or darker, it makes them look thinner. I've come to my conclusion that people want what they don't have. I'm fair skin Asian and I'm happy with it, but that doesn't mean I hate or think down to dark skin. My grandpa had such a beautiful dark brown skin, like African. My brother has brown skin like Indians and most of my women are fair skin. And I love them all. There's no one beauty standard, it's all depends on our taste. I never find Hollywood celebrities attractive compared to Asian but that's me. It's my eye. That doesn't mean they are ugly. Also, in India, everybody thinks Aiswarya is the most beautiful. However, I've seen lots of girls like her even more gorgeous here in America. Actually, I don't find her that amazing. I rather find Rina Roy, ismita Patel, Bipasha Basu, Rani mukharji more attractive. Like I said, it's me. We all are different, and we all are gods gift, and we all are beautiful in our own ways.

Wrong info. Eumelanin is composition of two forms a) DHI derived eumelanin thatvis dark brown to black b) DHICA derived eulmelanin that is light and copolymerisation between them with variation in their ratio determines variation of skin color among white, black and brown people. Pheomelanin on the other hand is a melanin formed by copolymerisation of DHI and DHICA eumelanins and imparts yellow to reddish/pinkish color to lips, vagina, glans of penis, nipples etc but Pheomelanin sometimes can be present in hair and skin, like among redheads, imoarting red/orange tinge to their hair and often to their skin as well. Pheomelanin is not not responsible for difference in skin color (pale, brown, darkbrown, black etc) among white people, brown people and black people.
