It's Time For A Safety Meeting! Our Semi-Truck Nearly Rolled Over. Things don't always go as planned, loaded semi took the corner too sharp. We shut down the HWY and Railway. Harvest is never easy, why would this year be any different?! Thankfully everyone is safe and harvest will resume. We value our employees and everyone makes mistakes. #Harvest #MillennialFarmerFail #LeaveItToTheProfessionals #FeedingTheWorld #WeDoItForTheViews

Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

We use to say; "Those who don't work, don't make any error." I hope I did translate it well.

Don't ever lose your sense of humor, Zach! I laughed out loud when you thanked the stop sign.

Tell us how you really feel. I know some of you won't be able to resist telling us how to do our job. 😂

And I’m actually really glad you didn’t disclose the name of the driver. Shows the respect you have for others. He already learned his lesson as soon as he had to call you to tell you that.

Glad nobody was hurt during the accident or the recovery. Your explanation of the accident was respectful of those involved, good job.

I'm glad that no one was hurt. I imagine the driver of the truck had a nasty fright and didn't feel too good about himself for a while afterwards. Zach's respectful explanation and understanding of the difficult circumstances that caused the crash shows that he is not just a good actor/farmer/gymnast but a real life good employer too.

Jim could've just as easily messed around and waited for help, but he wasted no time and got the job done on his own. That's a loyal, hardworking man.

That tow crew was straight up scary. Hopefully there's a better crews in the area, should the need arise

Glad everyone is safe. My only concern is all the trouble that wrecker had. Two separate big failures on one recovery is kind of a big deal when you're doing heavy towing.

Another driver here. 12 years, 1.5+ million miles.
Sometimes it's dark or you're doing seventeen dozen things trying to clear a corner or a road or dodge traffic or whatever else and some crap happens. Even the low-speed mistakes feel like they happen in an instant. If the worst you get out of it is a wrecker bill and maybe a little bent metal but all the people are okay and the load makes it too, put it in the book of learned experiences and go on. It's just a truck, it's just a trailer, it's just a load and the world isn't short of any of the three but good people are hard to come by and perfect ones don't exist.
Good on y'all for keeping your heads cool about the whole thing.

Too bad Ron Pratt is all the way down in Missouri. Looks like these guys need to replace/upgrade some of their rigging. Glad that no one was hurt, mistakes happen and trucks/trailers can be fixed.

Jim is like the definition of "good people", its hard to find people you can rely on like that.

Glad no one was hurt. Good drivers/employees are hard to find. A good man that learns from a hard lesson will be a better man at the end of the day. It shows real integrity to protect the identity of your driver. I'm sure he already felt 0.5" tall without the entire internet community piling on. Less important but I hope your equipment isn't too badly damaged.

A farmers life. Even when there's nothing to do, there's something that needs to be done. A full time farmer is a full time mechanic, full time manager, part time welder, plumber, electrician, carpenter, scientist, part time veterinarian, full time father/husband, I can't understand why any sane person would be a farmer. But God bless the men and women who have the courage and strength and faith to feed the world. Thank you for making my life easier, healthier, and longer...

Zach, very respectful and gracious and CLASS of you to not blame your employee, nor to blame the other driver. Sometimes, things are just one of those things. Good Job, Zach and employees and all farmers everywhere.
