Arrested To Ascertain My Details

Date 20210227. I know this officer from a previous interaction. Maybe he got confused and hopefully hes not harassing or intimidating me because he has a bad opinion of me. He did say I look like someone who has a arrest warrant. But still feel like they should do a little more investigation before they arrest people.
I had just bumped into my brother and old friend I haven't seen for decades. Thanks for the impression you gave to my brother and friend. He did apologize after I asked him too which I accepted but your still going on YouTube. So make sure you do better policing next time please. Hurts my feelings every time I have a bad interaction with police.
He did let me record to get his badge number at least. Next time I will be recording from start to finish. I think he had his body cam on so I asked him not to delete it but not sure if I can request it for this minor infraction from this police officer.

Abuse of power in my opinion. What is it about me. I got searched once because I was walking home late at night and they said there has been a lot of burglaries in the area. I had just finished work and had my chef whites in my bright yellow cycling backpack. And they was asking for my details which I refused. Thank god I didn't have weed on me.

This is a perfect example of why we should be able to physically defend ourselves against uniformed officers. If you the citizen are wrong well there are legal consequences you will have, for the officers who know law and disregard it they should be tried as private citizens and not sovereign ones. This is false imprisonment the second the cuffs go on and if he’s placed in the back of a cop car it’s kidnapping. Just my opinion.

You can definitely request it and you should always get a copy. It's also always worth complaining, if it's just to say "The office could have done some research and looked for an image of the wanted person".

Definitely feels like the Police are just becoming super lazy and instead of protecting your rights and freedoms and doing some investigating. They jump at legislation to get your details, so they can run it (I bet often not because someone who looks like you is wanted, but because they want to create more intelligence). Then they can do the "well you've been stopped once, so it's bound to happen now."

Never speak to them, they're not your friend.just hit record as soon as they approach you.ask for name, collar number and station they work out of...that's all you have to do! Copper been watching too many American cop movies, handcuff in the uk are not necessary unless you pose a risk to copper. But that copper is a bad one, once arrested you have to right to remain silent so he still wont get your name.

I might complain about this also. He didn't need to handcuff me and he's telling me to put my phone away as he's handcuffing which made me turn the camera off by accident. Bully boy. And made me look like like a criminal in front of my brother who I haven't seen for years as he was living in Spain. Horrible people the police.
