Hello and welcome to this video 🤩 If you're here because you're planning to or almost studying abroad in South Korea, congratulations!

My name is Lynne and I recently studied abroad in Seoul in the Fall of 2023 at Yonsei University. It was the best time of my life (as you can probably tell from the video and my channel). I know that the most helpful resources for my pre-departure process were alumni, and so I'm hoping to compile all of the answers to questions I had asked them or guides on the confusing/lengthy processes I went through while I prepared to leave for Seoul.

Please remember to take everything I say in this video with a grain of salt, as I am only one person and I can only represent my specific experience at Yonsei, in Seoul, in South Korea, etc. I truly hope this can be a resource for those of you who are going abroad soon, so please let me know if you have any other questions!

As you can probably see, this video is LONG (sorry, but I'm quite the yapper). So I've included timestamps below and you can also turn on CC to follow along!

Once again, good luck to everyone getting ready to study abroad! I wish you the best of times :))

i just watched the whole video, thank you for that cause it's truly usefull. my current goal is to go in yonsei UIC in fall 2025, so i've got one year to plan everything. as a non english speaker as maternal language this is so freaking hard for me to understand all the requirement to get to yonsei, but that's smh exciting lol. i've got few questions btw maybe you can help me: is it hard to get full scholarship in yonsei? i mean i definitely can't get in korea if i have to pay fee on my own so i'm stresses about that. also i heard that the korean government offer a scholarship as well, so maybe you know if it's possible to apply for both of them? my text is too long sorry. anyway thanks for your vid again, i'll surely watch it again when i'll start applying!
