My family and I switched from AT&T to US Mobile Unlimited Basic and saved a LOT of money in the process. We're never looking back.

Thank goodness. I was thinking of sending out a search party for you. Glad to see you're still going strong. I've been looking forward to this video very much.

It's amazing to me how closely priced all the carriers are. Even Verizon's most expensive plans are within $10 from their competition. That's awesome, considering how much more expensive VZ used to be compared to other carriers years ago. Very impressive!

Been watching for a while. And all I can say is the effort you put I to these videos is amazing! This kind of content helps those who really need to save, want to save, or just don't use there phones enough to justify the need for more "frills". As someone who has a grandfathered education plan, most plans still don't make sense to change you. But when it's time, I'll definitely be on the look for your videos.

AT&T unlimited starter is definitely a good deal for multiple lines. Just be sure to watch your bill EVERY MONTH and make sure that you get your discounts… And keep getting them!

Prepaid still a better value when you don't opt for a high end phone.

Excellent video, love your graphs and all the research it takes to make these! My family is on ATT Unlimited Starter with 5 lines and can confirm, truly one of the best deals around for what you get. With the autopay it's $30 + the various fees, so it does equal to about that in your graph.

Stellar video. I like the comparison of the “true cost“ of each plan. Last year when I was comparison-shopping, I noticed that 5 lines of the AT&T Unlimited Elite plan (factoring in the signature discount) was slightly less expensive than the Cricket More plan, once you take into account the device cost and trade-in credit.

The thing with going with small carriers that people need to be aware of is dropped coverage, and it happens a lot. As an example, if you have service with Metro you're using T-Mobile's network. If that network is getting congested and bandwidth needs to be freed up to keep the data flowing, who is getting their connection dropped? If you guested you on Metro as opposed to the T-Mobile customer, you would be correct. All the major carriers do it the same way, which is fair since their primary customers using their networks are paying more in general.

I have T-Mobile and it's the regular magenta and we have seven lines and we are paying $180 a month.... That's like $25 a month... I think what you're not showing is that T-Mobile gives you discounts if you do auto pay and I'm pretty sure the other companies do too... Because I'm getting $86 in discounts... But yeah 180+$50 for home Internet but I pay that separate

Stetson, what about US Mobile's pooled plans?

Even if you made 3-5 5GB individual pools so people don't use more than their share, the lines are 19.49 each (only $0.49 tax per line unlike their other plans). $9 + $2*5. Pools are great for flexibility too, we share 3 GB for our pool and add 1GB/$2 as needed mid month. If it's one pool, then sharing data is even more helpful.

Also, interested in Google Fi's basic unlimited plan. Pretty good with a lot of people on the group and they seem to have good deals on Samsung phones nearly every year. (But their support is the worst of any MVNO I've ever used, which isn't as many as you but still a lot).

Great video as always! Also interested in how variables like Netflix or other perks impact the bottom line. So many variables! :-)

Cricket with 4 lines is $108 per month. Taxes and fees included.

You should have seperated the phone cost column. Everyone is not buying a new phone. Would love to have seen a comparison with plan cost and fees but you grouped the fees in with phone cost.

One thing that frustrates me, is that almost all the unlimited plans cap streaming at 480p. And unfortunately, I end up using my phone a lot. So I actually do end up burning in the neighborhood of 40 gigs per month.

I think you missed the part where Tmobile required a new line for the phone discount. One cannot add a new line every 2 years to get free phone, that does not make sense. can you adjust the pricing to reflect this? Also trade in value is not free money and cannot be simply deducted as free cash. You need to adjust for that also.

I'm paying for visible + and two regular visible base lines for 85$ a month no complaints. Visible is great
