I also think that being born of the spirit means to receive the Holy Spirit and get filled with him!! Thank you 🙏

Thanks for the video brother. I never thought about this passage in the sense that water/word and Spirit/Holy Spirit work as 'influences' for a person to be born again. I had the same understanding of this passage but the word 'influences' makes it more understandable.

Being born of water means that the spirits will place you in the water of rulers or priests or warriors. Then comes born of spirit that means being able to see and hear spirits and being able to walk in the spirit realm. To be born of water you have to live righteously and give to others and help everyone in need, then the spirits will choose you and place you in waters of rulers, priests, soldiers, etc.

Being born of water Is water baptism, being baptized.

Roman's 6: 1-4
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the
dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Read also Acts 19:1-6

Its resurrection language pointing to the incorruptible and immortal body. This is why if you keep reading He also points out that those born of the spirit can move like the wind which we see Yeshua do himself post resurrection in chapter 20 verse 19 of the same book.

So if you don’t need to be baptized then how do you explain these scriptures?

Matthew 3:14-16 KJVS
[14] But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? [15] And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. [16] And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
1 Peter 3:20-21 KJVS
[20] Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. [21] The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, ) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
Romans 6:4-8 KJVS
[4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. [5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: [6] Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. [7] For he that is dead is freed from sin. [8] Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

If you say water is the word of God then it could mean Jesus alone For he is the word of God
John 1:1 KJVS
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 19:34 KJVS
[34] But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
John 4:13-14 KJVS
[13] Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: [14] But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

I’m not debating your theory I am just giving other theories.
Jesus absolutely want you to study the word the only way you can combat Satan just like he did every time he was tempted he said it was written and went back to the word of God.
And Jesus‘s words are words of eternal life.
John 6:68 KJVS
[68] Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

Yes indeed, I believe you have been led by the Holy Spirit in your interpretration of this verse in God's word about being "born again".Praise the Lord for using you as his instrument in sharing His word to His people.May the good Lord continue to use you mightily in the service of His Kingdom n bless you richly with every spiritual heavenly blessings.May He always look with favor on you n your love ones, granting all of you peace and joy in abundance.

I think we should take the Bible the way it is, instead of trying to twist it in the way we think it means. If the word of God says born of water and Spirit then it means just that...water and Spirit..Please read Acts 8:38, Acts 10:25, Acts 10:44, Mathew 3:16. God bless

My question, according to John 3:5, is if Spirit is literal Spirit what purpose would the Lord have in figuratively calling the Word water ?
We know that physically a child is born of the seed of his father, but that isn't the birth itself just as being born again of the Spirit is part of the new birth itself what reason could There be for it being equally true of water ?
Peter said that remission of sins is accomplished by repentance and water baptism. Remission of sin is part of the new birth.

Gospel of Thomas verse 70.. Jesus said " what you have within you will save you, if you give BIRTH to it..this is the spirit of God

So you believe in three births? Natural, word, and Spirit?

"Born of water and spirit" is not two things. It is one thing. The phrase is a hendiadys, where the word spiritual modifies the noun water. Unless one is born of "spiritual water, " with an emphasis on spiritual. We have no hendiadys in English but the ancient Hebrew, Greek, and Latin were full of them. The absence of articles in the word and the fact that both words are nouns confirms the hendiadys. Another hendiasys: "But the hour comes, and now, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth." One thing is meant--in true spirit--or in a truly, spiritual manner, there truth is an superlative adjective modifying the noun spirit.

People pick and choose what they assume is the correct way but when they dont study on what to speak about this is where the confusion takes place read the book of Malachi this is the prophecy of John the Baptist his soul purpose was Baptisting even the disciples of Jesus we're baptizing in the same formula this formula of baptism never changed its in acts 2:38 now the very first thing Jesus done before anything else he got baptisted and then the spirit descended on him like a dove so when Jesus told Nicodemus in john 3:5 is completely about baptism

i think its the water that breaks when your born, so that and was an additional, Spirit of course being Holy Spirit

After getting born again, yes, , we need to baptize but this particular scripture, water here, represents the word of God.
