It really doesn’t matter if you want or need 8K or if it looks any better than 4K. If you want the best QLED, its 8K. Samsung’s may be the best this year. Also, Samsung soundbars are looking strong, and The Frame? It’s the truth!

Hey everyone! Judging from some of the comments, I feel like a teacher at the head of the class reading student's book reviews and being like ... you didn't read the book, did ya? LOL. It's all good, I suppose. Cheers!

Even though I have no need for a new TV in the near future, I watch you anyway because I want to keep up with new developments. Always the best.

Samsung‘s best is QD-OLED. They just hate marketing it as the best since they were forced to introduce it this year. Definitely looking forward to 75“ QD-OLED next year!

Caleb, Thanks for this. I watched and read everything from the March 30th launch/unbox day and had decided on the `QLED 900B in the 85 inch size. But then I saw this video of yours about the frame. It does not take much to recognize our television is off most of the time - always during the day, a great time to display beautiful art. How wonderful! We use the television at night for movies and sports, and have a top-of-the line Bowers & Wilkins speaker set up. Because of the windows and brightness of this room, we LOVE the resolution, detail and color of our existing Samsung QN65Q9F. Just wish it was bigger. We removed a massive entertainment center to accommodate a larger set and are looking for the perfect TV now. You've left me torn. Either, the Frame in an 85 inch model (which I understand will be out in a few months), or the 900B in an 85 inch version, a bit sooner. Time isn't a consideration. We can wait. The questions for you (and us) is: How close will the performance of the Frame be to the 900B? While we don't expect it will be at the level of the new 900B, will it be close to our existing 4K television? While we'd like even more performance, we're pretty happy with the QN65Q9F. But I'm not sure we would want to go below this. What are your thoughts?

I’ll be getting the samsung qn900b with the hw-q950a sound bar, which i think it’s really cool that the sound bar comes with a subwoofer and rear speakers

I am planning on purchasing an 8K TV. I am doing my best to research different products and determine what are the best attributes to consider before making a purchase. I appreciate your efforts in providing a excellent and informative presentation. Sadly, money is an object I am not willing to part with and I must be frugal in my overall decision. Considering today global inflation, I maybe better off waiting until affordability is more in my favor.

The Frame may be the next TV for the main entertaining room. I have my nice TV for my media room but the new Fame seems perfect for an room where you need a TV occasionally but no always.

Dolby Vision iQ and Dolby Vision Gaming is missing and there is also no heatsink in the new Flagships of Samsung, which is really important because these TVs are getting hot and there can be damage happening when it is always hot inside.

I absolutely love my Qn800! It was a huge upgrade from my previous unit! It gets very bright and lights up my entire room and has pretty darn good reflection control. I'm looking forward to see how it stands up to it's competition.

Caleb I would love to get a more in-depth review of the the frame tv. After seeing the ability to display art I’m considering one in the family room, I’d be looking at the 85inch and I think it’s an awesome idea to be able to turn the screen into a nice back ground piece instead of the standard black panel that hangs on a wall while not being used.

Great review! Been a 1080P Samsung 55" owner since 2016... I'm diving into the QN800, 65", to save a grand on the 75".... hooking it up to my home sound system and we should be pretty happy. My dad, a 4K owner, thought we had a 4K in the old Samsung's display when he saw it, so I can't wait to up it to 8K. Prices are now (04/22) at $2, 000 for the 65" - especially since the 'B' revs are now released. They're a bit too pricey for me; I want to pay off our mortgage. :)
