One of the most unknown/underated bands ever.

I’m 4 years sober now, it’ll be 5 years in October. This song helps me a lot whenever I’m struggling emotionally, and I’ll always come back to it.

So many times. Just Me, and the Dark, and this song. Over and over. Thank you for writing and singing this song about me. Or atleast it seems to be about me.

This song always hits hard for me and always makes me tear up at 2:52 I use to listen to this song when I was wasted being a closet alcoholic, hiding away from everyone and drinking for weeks alone in my room. I’m a year sober from alcohol now.. and it’s not easy staying sober. This song helped me get through some tough times though I’ll admit that.

Watch this guy enjoy what he does so masterfully... While being a sad and vulnerable human simultaneously. Ben is a true warrior for the good that comes from music. Love this band so damn much.

I could have this version of this song on repeat for the rest of my life, and I would never get tired of hearing it. So amazing!

Deep down in your soul, there's some song like this playing to your heart...softening up the sound of all your tomorrows cause yesterday's nothing compared to tomorrow...

Saw them at peacemaker in fort smith a few years back. Damn fine show, and made the festival for me. Hopefully I'll get to see them there again.

think I'll stay right down here on this floor
Cause if I get back up I'll only fall down more
It ain't the liquor and it ain't the beer that keeps me down
It ain't the sad songs or heartache it ain't even this town
Now I must've had a pretty good time to end up here
Made a pretty good run it caught up with me my dear
There's no need to make a fuss cause I'll be all right
Just let me lay here a while 'til I can stand upright
Now I'm just a little bit tired that's all
Don't make me get back up cause I'll just fall
Please stop talking so loud and just let me sleep
I ain't in nobody's way they can just step over me
Well I think I'll just stay right down here on this floor
Cause if I get back up I'll only fall down some more
Now I'm just a little bit tired that's all
Don't make me get back up cause I'll just fall

Tennessee looked promising before I moved here. Been in Chattanooga about year after 22 in MA. This band, and specifically this song, has been my cure for the homesickness and nostalgia. Off work at 2 am Sunday morning, couple joints, Jack Honey, my balcony, and this song. Thanks boys, long life and a merry one.

Man, I know this is like a break up song... however, I’m an only child. 44 years old. And just lost my 61 year old father. Whom I was very close. This hits hard
