I have 47 years in recovery from most everything. Stopped drinking first and spent many years in AA. On to coda and ACA( adult children of alcoholics) then SLAA( relationship addiction) gave up shopping which truly was an addiction. Never smoked cigarettes so escaped that one. Quite a journey! Still must work every day on myself because it’s extremely easy to slip back. Finding myself is the name of the game. I just keep going.
