Joe Jones reveals the spirit of hyper and heretical "fundamentalism" by his incessant, vitriolic, and unsubstantiated attacks against me in this second message from the 2020 New IFB Fundamentalist Conference. Is the tiny little New IFB movement carrying the weight of Christianity on its shoulders? Are all the other denominations false, and is the NIFB "doing all the work"? Jones reveals through his spirit that this group is not fundamentalist at all - creating new standards of doctrine and fellowship that never existed in Fundamentalism before, and excoriating any who get in the way, disagree, or oppose them.

It's so strange, as I listen to this I can't help but hear Jack Hyles, the self righteous spirit of Jack Hyles is in this poor deluted man, God help him.

You could make a drinking game out of how many times these NIFB guys use the words "bozo" and "loser".

I went to Joes church for a few weeks when they came to my old town. He's a wild man. He's got a sermon on his page ripping me and my family to shreds.

Balance...there is no balance.
I don't mean to stir up strife, but at the same time I must hold true to what I believe...
While I don't agree with neither the IFB's nor NIFB's morphing into modern-day Pharisee-ism (is that a word? Hahaha), neither do I agree with accepting modern-day Calvinism (or whatever it may be referred to today...Reformed Theology etc.).
As someone who has experienced the sad and inexplicable repercussions of the IFB's modern-day Pharisee-ism, I still believe that some of those beliefs are true and biblical; however, when modern-day Pharisees put their own spin on God's word without proper study, they must be called out.
As someone who has experienced the worst of IFB-ism, and someone who doesn't agree with Reformed Theology, I still thank you for your work. May the Lord bless you.
