Remove clipping, distortion and save the take, with iZotope RX 8 (same process with RX 7, RX 6). Audio recorded too loud needs some love. A few simple steps. Questions also addressed toward the end.

Nice video! You don't need to render to hear the result of your settings; pres the preview button in the left bottom corner, and RX wil play your selected part in the timeline

How do you send recordings in? I have a recording you can try to fix. It’s an advanced high school band recording from 1960. It’s a digital copy I made from an LP on my turn table. It’s hard doing classical because of the wide range of dynamics in that particular genre; plus the background noise of
the record. I usually get water noise if I push some of the tools too aggressively in RX8. Some of the high school band recording has distortion when the choir sings with the band, even though I have used RX8 to de-clip etc. Thanks for the tutorial. I’m glad I found your channel. I’m going to try some of your suggestions.

if i have a Audience Record from a loud Concert, and it sounds distorted, is that clipping? Or is it another Distorting and cant be fixed by RX? What would you use for that. My feeling says it sounds different, the mic wasnt capable of handling of the liud volume.

You fail to demonstrate A/B comparison. Even if you did it we missed it because you didn't explain what you were playing back: The treated or the untreated? The plot is completely lost at about 7:30 where you are just about to say what you are doing but suddenly you meander into entirely something else in your narrative. Thus we don't know which version we heard. Are you applying the second preset on top of the first or separately? Where is A/B comparison? Also at 22:05 you do not show something really important: Your Spectral Repair settings.
