While these aren’t for me, I appreciate a drum company stepping outside of the box to offer something unique. We have way too many drum companies who don’t even make their own shells and are just trying to sound like everybody else. It seems like the guys at A&F are passionate about their product and I respect that!

These hats almost sound like a tightly closed stack when closed, definitely interesting and cool to see companies stepping out of the box!

Also, hearing “what the f*** are these drums?!” was hilarious to hear as it caught me so off guard since it was exactly what everyone was thinking but I doubt anyone thought y’all would actually say it!

Props to y’all for putting yourselves out there with this cutting edge content, so cool to see the newest stuff the industry has to offer!

it's almost hard to focus on the hats because the drums are SO SO intensely good, that my ears are just constantly buzzing "omg those drums!". But the hats are definitely cool! I wish they'd make a bunch of the square cymbals for people to be able to hear them before ordering them. As it is now it seems it's only custom orders, and so a bit of blind fate. There aren't even many recordings fo their square crashes, to use as reference. But i played one recently and it was tremendous. Should have just bought it on the spot.

I think the drums sound perfectly with these cymbals. It has this vintageish sound that matches the beautiful sandy wash of the cymbals, they also have a pronounced chick sound that makes them very musical. The drums sound really light. I absolutely loved them. I hope you guys keep a sample in the store for people to try them out! Again another awesome video!

Screw the cymbals, those drums sound fantastic.

This wasn’t really mentioned, (and the guys almost seemed a bit bummed out because the gear was so different) but I thought the sounds of those instruments brought out a unique, even more creative side to all of their playing styles. I thought it was some of the best drumming I’ve seen from those guys and it’s almost like they didn’t notice it. I thought they made the gear sound great.

For my setup, I couldn't imagine that Hats. But I think it's so important that there're sound pioneers like Sabian and A&F who are always innovating. That hats sounds really amazing!

Reminds me of traditional Chinese cymbals.

I dig the mid 1800’s vibe these drums exude.

Man, that bass drum...the whole kit for that matter was outstanding. I like how A&F does things differently (and excellently). The cymbals definitely work with that kit. They wouldn't be my everyday cymbal set but so what...it's nice to have options. Naturally, if you want a cymbal with a straight edge, you have to choose Sabian (remember the Rocktagon?) :) Anyway, excellent video from DCP. Keep it weird, musical, and exceptional, Rami!

The setup in the first demo is everything I want in life. In love with the cymbals (and the shells too)!

I really loved the look and sound of that dark square ride. Love to see drums culture expanding and experimenting.

Those hats are fascinating—almost a fuller, darker sound than those fashionable ‘Swiss cheese’ hats that I’m curious about but won’t buy. I’d consider a pair of these for special projects, solo stuff, recording, or those late-night stoned practice sessions (which I NEVER do ... EVER!).
These are similar to Tibetan religious cymbals. Also: TERRY BOZZIO could do some damage with these hats!

Both drum-kit and cymbals sounds outstanding! Very unique and original!

So... Not a huge fan of the cymbals. Interesting, for sure, but not my cup of tea.

But, to echo almost everyone here: THAT KIT. Dear heavens, that kit is amazing...

I am intrigued by those hats. Curious what would happen if a metal drummer got a hold of them. Slightly open, slightly tilted bottom hat, nylon tip 5b stick and blast beats. Could be cool.

By the way, kit sounds great! Love the room sound. And the kick is boss.

These Hihats sound so great. They have character, body, flair, invite to use them. The whole setup looks like it was for the dunno 30s, but the sound overall is fat and rich in all sorts of noises. I love it. I would even take that square ride/crash/whatsoever. Fantastic setup.
