Hallo Valia, thank you to show us whats behind the Tourist donkey rides: rescue organisations with donkeys who had gone through the hell and now safe, mostly friendly and handsome. Thank you for introdusing this donkey rescue organisations and for showing us beautyful greek ❤ if I would fly to greek, I will be in crete, at the Mountains of dogs. But this year, because the virus, I stay at home... In a view weeks my holiday starts... I stay home... not this year. Maybe next year but for sure in two years.

I work in the forest in a Kindergarten. We have no house, only two trailers. A man visit us with his two beautyful donkeys. At the end of the Day he called them by their names "Fritz" and "Lola" and they come to him like two dogs. Such lovely animals. No imagine how cruelty their live before. He buy them from a butcher, treat them so wonderful and take care of both. Amazing creatures ❤❤

My husband and I, we adore Donkey's, and have a history with them. Those we have known, they are in heaven, so we are Donkeyless now. The last was "Simon", a Giant White. We are looking at a large farm to buy, in Maine, USA, and we will surely include Donkey's. Thank you for adoring Donkey's!!! Bless you and yours...

First: that this beautiful creatures not being used as carriers anymore and people can't give then the Respect and love they deserve🙏
Second: Go to Greece and visit all this amazing places and meet all this true heroes❤️

Wow Valia, thank you for sharing this information. Although I don't want to see what happens behind the scenes, I know what I know and with that being said, it is important to know exactly what these babies have had to endure. I've always wanted to travel to Greece, and as an animal advocate, I would love to visit even more. Education is the answer, but too many people are not interested in the question. Thank you for all you and your fellow animal lovers of animals for all you do every single day of the year.

IF I´ll ever visit Greece theese are the places I would visit !! The rescue shelters for all the animals, dogs, cats, donkeys, horses always thought that Greece is a loving, friendly tourist country, but after I learned how incredible indifferent people are to animals...I´m not so sure anymore. Animals are a gift to be cherished and grateful for not used as working tools or broken toys. Horses and Donkeys should never be forced to carry tourists around, not in USA, UK or Greece....If they are working, work with them, beside them and when they are too old, let them enjoy life with all the dignity and love they are worthy of....
