Doorstep Duets, now in its third year, showcases original choreography by talented upcoming artists in outdoor spaces and non-traditional performance venues. Our goal is to bring the joy and wonder of dance to all. This summer, we are thrilled to present "Back to Us," an enchanting dance piece choreographed by the renowned Glenn Graham. This mesmerising performance explores the importance of friendship and the need for connection, featuring exceptional dancers from New Adventures: Ben Brown, Benjamin Barlow Bazeley, Jade Copas, and Hannah Hernandez.

Prepare to be spellbound as these performances take place at various locations such as schools, care homes, libraries, parks, high streets, marinas, festivals, and even doorsteps. The journey begins on 11 July at Farnham Maltings and continues to Essex, Suffolk, Kent, Surrey, and Eastbourne. Mark your calendars and be part of this unforgettable dance extravaganza!

Glenn Graham, a New Adventures Resident Artist and mentor to our Emerging Artists, is making his choreographic debut with "Back to Us." Reflecting on the significance of Doorstep Duets, Glenn shared, "This program means so much to me. Growing up, I didn't get to experience anything like this, so having the opportunity to share my ideas through the joy of dance with local communities is such an honor."

We are grateful to be collaborating once again with our esteemed partners: Farnham Maltings, Dance Woking, Mercury Theatre Colchester, Dance Network Association, Marlowe Theatre Canterbury, Future Foundry, Dover Town Council, Port of Dover, and Surrey Libraries. Together, we aim to ignite passion and inspire communities through the power of dance.

In a small town, three best friends form an unbreakable bond. Together, they face the challenges of school, relationships, and family, supporting each other through it all. But as they grow up, life tests their connection, and they find themselves separated, confronting the trials of love, compassion, and loyalty. Some friendships endure, while others fade away, shaping who we are and the journeys we embark upon.

About Glenn Graham:
Glenn Graham is a London-based dancer, choreographer, and mentor. With an impressive portfolio of choreographic works, including collaborations with Dutch fashion designers and explorations of human emotions and identities, Glenn has established himself as a visionary in the dance world. Having joined New Adventures in 2003, Glenn has performed in iconic productions such as Nutcracker! and Swan Lake, leaving audiences spellbound with his remarkable talent. We are thrilled to witness Glenn's choreographic debut with "Back to Us."
