As a public land hunter, the deer you harvested in this video is a true testament of how public land hunting is. The hard work, and only a limited number of days to hunt we all dream of ol mossy, but when it's getting down to the last day or hour of season it all about the meat at that point. Congratulations on a good deer man. And keep up the awesome videos.

I was waiting for the cooking series. Your Instagram shows that you have some skills in the kitchen. Wish we could see how you do it.

Remi, awesome as always. Foot stalking whitetail deer is so much fun, at times aggravating, yet physically and mentally rewarding when luck and persistence meet.

The quality of the video is outstanding, even watching on my work monitor it looks like I am there. Great video as always Remi.

Good to see a video from Remi again. I've had a few deer like that and they all taste great when the season is over.

This video reminds me of my solo hunt in the East Kootenays of BC in November last year. Tough hunting in that terrain and the cold. But still a great experience. I love that you share these types of hunts to show that not all your hunts end up with big bucks. It actually keeps me encouraged to keep putting in the hard work when I see experienced hunters go through the struggles.

This is similar to Maine hunting. We hunt the big woods here. Big old bucks in the mountains. Tracking is the way its done here. No tree stand, No bait (Food Plots), and no road hunting. You should come hunt in Maine! Read Hal Bloods books, and the Benoits books if you want to see what its like.

Great video Remi! I like to hunt Whitetail the same way....rattling can be killer if you can hit it just right. That Buck will be good eating. Always like your positive attitude.

The terrain reminds me of hunting up north in Alberta. Beautiful country, great vid!

Back in the day, my wise old hunting mentor once told me, "Keep your rifle with you and ready to go. And when your answering the call of nature, and a big buck comes into view, take the shot and then pull up your pants!" I mention this because if you have the choice of messing around with your camera or taking that shot, ... take the shot and then worry about the camera. Just saying.

Tender venison there, better than an empty freezer, thanks for sharing

Glad to see a video of a hunter of your caliber, still hunt for food. Venison is venison at the end of the day.
