EXPLORING Bangkok's BEST KEPT SECRET Food Market Khlong Toei Slum 🇹🇭

Thailand, Bangkok - The Talad Khlong Toey (Thai: ตลาดคลองเตย; Khlong Toey Market) is one of Bangkok's largest and most famous fresh food markets. It is located on Rama IV Road in the district of the same name, which occupies an area between the touristy Sukhumvit Road and the Chao Phraya River and which, in addition to the market, also includes the port of Bangkok, Benjakitti Park, the Queen Sirikit Convention Center, banks, hotels and shopping centers.

The Khlong Toey Market has a wide range of products on offer. The focus is on fresh food such as meat, fish, poultry, fruit and vegetables. The selection of exotic fruits, which are colourfully displayed in the stalls' displays, is impressive. You will also find dried food, various types of rice and noodles, herbs and spices, as well as a few stalls selling household items (including very good and inexpensive kitchen knives), clothing (don't expect too much here) and everyday goods.
