Ben's Theme

HOW IT WAS MADE:

Essentially, an artificial intelligence took the original Song of Healing - a song popularized in Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (and featured prominently in the BEN Drowned story) - and ran it through a neural network that has been learning from thousands of musical works from historical composers (ranging from Bach to Chopin to Beethoven, etc). Based on the acquired musical knowledge, the AI is then able to create a natural extension of the song (or even an entirely new one) by being given specific parameters. Thanks to the incredible advancements of machine learning - and with a few human nudges here and there to give it structure - this song was almost entirely created by an artificial intelligence.

This was made possible in conjunction with Elon Musk's OpenAI initiative.

You know it's funny. Initially, I was kind of salty with the transition of BEN from a malicious figure to a far more sympathetic one. But then I remembered Skull Kid was just a prankster who wanted to see his friends again and who was warped to evil machinations. Via this rewrite, BEN isn't the Majora, he's the Skull Kid.
