Many International medical graduates study medical course in a foreign country and then come back to their own country for medical license exam , internship and finally receive a registration to practice medicine in their own country.
Germany has been sofar accepting candidates who have followed this path and had one medical license, but since few months now, they insist on the medical license from the country of medical training.

DMiNetz International is a career guidance company for international doctors, dentists who plan to work in Germany.

Georgia allows to practice as a junior doctor after mbbs but they do not give any licence, they just allow to practice without licence. They give licence after pg. So in this can I apply in Germany? (without having home country license)

Technically students studying in Ukraine, don't get Ukrainian licence Bec we just get academically trained and supposed to clear fmge licencing exam. Under no circumstances Ukraine govt provide licence to foreign student that too English speaking who studied everything in English and not in dre language. If such situation arise then it will be a huge problem because Indian pg system in totally incompetent to handle inflow of fmgs . Ideally please update that any Ukraine graduate specially may apply or should continue the application process or not. Thankyou very much 🙏

Is this available as a law change in written form somewhere, or as a document of any doctor?
In which states was this anounced?

Hello doctor,
Congratulations on becoming a Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon.
Regarding the new hurdle for PG in Germany that requires license from country of graduation. Below rule is in Finland (EU member state). This might be a solution that You may recommend to German medical council to consider.
“If your basic medical training does not qualify you to practise as an independent medical professional in the country where you completed your training, then you must work as a physician in Finland on a limited licence to practise for 2 years before you can be legalised as a physician.”
I will be very grateful to you, if you could suggest this as it’s already a rule in a EU state.
Thank You 🙏🏻

Any update on the situation please?
Got my MBBS from China 10 years ago. Did 1 year of internship before graduation. Then got to my Home country (Mauritius) did 1, 5 years internship to get my medical license in Mauritius. Now I have about 8 years of experience in a hospital setting. I’m getting ready to go to Germany.
However it is impossible to get a Chinese medical license at that point.
Any chance the laws change?
I understand they are making it more difficult for FMGs probably because their vacant medical positions are getting filled. (Low demand/high supply).

I have done my MBBS from Smolensk State Medical University, the Russian federation. I don't have a Russian licence. But I have cleared my fmge and now I'm a registered doctor in India. I have an Indian medical license . I'm looking forward to do my speciality (PG) from Germany. Do I have any kind of risks in opting this as an option because according to this video I will need to have a Russian licence to proceed further in Germany which clearly I don't have. Am I eligible?

Is there any official notification about this new amendments in the rules? Any particular website where we can get this information?
