It's the easiest historical project I've ever done — and it's quite cute!
It's a little ruffled bustle to lift the back of the skirts in your 1830s project.

That was a little short one. I must admit to really disliking the 1830's football shoulders puffs, but it's going to be interersting. My favourite eras are 1760's and 1880's. Anything Marie Antoinette or Winona Ryder as Mina Harker in Dracula style and I'm in love. That green and white day dress just melts my heart. Ooooh ooh oh, idea!!! How do you fancy an 1880's project and you make the green and white dress from Dracula.???? Oh my goodness, that would AMAZING!!!!

Makes me wonder, if I doubled the length and let it come around my hips, if I could fake actually having hips for some of the clothing I'm making that really wants me to have some!! I almost want to try making wrist ruffs just to play with starching!

Once you have the the rest done I would love to see the whole look with the Ariel dress with and without the bustle to be able to really see how much poof it has

Surprised as young as you are interested in the 1830s. So am I BUT I’m 81 and love cars, dresses. Shoes.
