As a YouTuber who edits his own videos, I actually understand how this could happen and I’ll tell you how: when you’re editing a video, You usually focus on the part you’re editing and if kai proof watched the video he might’ve skipped the first few seconds because obviously what are the chances he made a mistake that early in the video? Or the timeline messed up and started him a second late. Anything can happen and he’s been editing for years so he probably just assumed he was fine. So that’s how this happened possibly!
