Great review.
You might be interested to know the film was directed by the same lady that directed Jennifer's Body.
Really enjoyed the film and as you say it's very tense and almost impossible to look away from the screen.
I felt similar about things towards the end. It was still good but I felt a little disappointed or something. Like it felt a little generic or uninspiring after such a tense build up.
Still really liked it though and the last few seconds were a great idea.
If you want to see something similar you should check out They Look Like People. It's low budget and a bit of a slow burn but I think you'd dig it.
