It’s a pretty shitty part in life when a drug addiction gets bad to the point that you can’t hide it anymore from your loved ones, and your excuses like “oh I’m just tired” and they’re like “no you’re obviously high”. I’m at that stage with my addiction and it’s very sad to see the looks my family gives me when they know I’m high and I just give them empty excuses to why I look like a junkie, when 4 months ago I was much healthier.

To me, it sounds like a couple that started off with bad habits (drug use) together and after some time she started to heal herself and get better (hence, the water, getting “cleansed”) and he didn’t and she doesn’t look at him the same and needs to leave him behind because he refuses to change.
