What the HELL is wrong with people! Prince was NOT addicted to drugs!! Prince suffered multiple injuries and had a total hip replacement. What was he supposed to do just grin and bear it??? Medication is sometimes the ONLY option. I just wish he had a pain management doctor and extensive physical therapy instead of using pain meds in private. I have loved Prince ever since I was a little girl in the 7th grade in the very early 80s. I was devastated when he passed away. I cried for weeks and it's still very difficult for me to watch his videos & movies and to listen to his music. He is truly missed. His contribution to music was tremendous and there will never be another Prince.

Prince did it all. I always thought nobody could touch ELVIS. Now, I'm not sure who was the King of Entertainment. Back around 1984, as I was driving from Orlando to Chicago, the song When Doves Cry came on the car radio. I had to pull over to listen to it. It was my Ed Sullivan Show/Elvis-Beatles moment. I just sat in the car. Amazed. As I am a professional musician, Prince's musical genius just knocked me out. No one since has captured me like that.
