The team has been through so much growing pains, all they back from the last World Cup and even the last Olympics. I love this so much. It’s awesome to see the team having fun, feeling connected, and playing with joy and freedom on the pitch. I believe Vlatko was a kind man and a good coach who cared about the players, but something about his coaching style and on-pitch strategies obviously just weren’t working well for this team. Emma seems to have unlocked something new with this group, and it’s so great to see. Keep going, USWNT! You’re killing it, and we’re all rooting for you no matter what. ❤
