I’ve made videos in the past about companies I didn’t have the best experience with. I’m doing just the opposite in this video by calling out Edelbrock for awesome customer service. Thank you Edelbrock!

Thank you for the praise and positive feedback for our technical support Eric. I am one of those gentleman on the other end of the line taking said tech calls and we sincerely appreciate the support from great people such as yourself. We try to provide that same customer service to everyone who calls in requesting help. Its truly a rewarding job to be able to help so many people on a daily and yes we are all gearheads in the tech office, with a multitude of personal interests amongst the few 🏁

Hey Eric, just wanted to say it's great to have you appearing regularly on YouTube again. Not to sound weird but I've been subscribed for so long now (gotta be at least 10 years, you were one of the first YT channels I subscribed to) that watching the ETCG1 videos is a really comforting thing, takes me back to a much simpler time in my life.

The videos from the first shop came at a time when I was just getting into wrenching on my MK2 Scirocco, I was 21 years old and I learned SO much from you, and I still do (some of your videos are still must-have reference material for me).

You also gave me the balls to go for it as far as doing this for a living, I'm into my second year specialising in classic car fuel systems, including KJetronic fuel injection and never thought I'd be carrying out various repairs and services on classics I've lusted after for years.

Thank you, sincerely.

Keep up the great work, friend. Stay Dirty!

Oh yeah, Edelbrock kick ass by the way! haha

Way back in the 1980's I had a second-hand water injection kit for my Buick V6/Opel GT project. I couldn't get it to work and Edelbrock Tech Support diag the brain and it had gone bad. They sent me a new one at no extra cost, just shipping. I've been a fan ever since! Great customer service can make a life-long "partner" (I send money, they send me stuff!) It's a nice feeling you're not alone in the wilderness.

There's nothing that makes me happier than when I fix a problem; but when someone else gets a problem fixed, it's almost as satisfying.

I'm happy to see your happy here, happy Edelbrock stood behind their product, and hope everyone has a happy 4th of July!

It’s awesome that there’s still companies that care about their end user, long after their initial purchase. That solidifies that future gear heads will buy their products

One of the best experiences I've was with Autometer. I bought a used Monster Tach with the shift light. Well, the tach didn't work and the light didn't come on, so I called to see if there was anything they could do. They told me to box it up and send it to them. It would be $75. to go thru it. About two weeks later, I get a package in the mail. They completely went thru it, fixed it, and even gave me a warranty on a part that I bought used!!! They even sent me a couple stickers, gotta love the stickers. I'd always bought Autometer before, but after that experience, as long as I live, any aftermarket gauges will come from Autometer

Holley is the same way. I messed up my throttle body, they knew i messed it up, they offered to replace it as a courtesy, all i had to pay was shipping there. Im glad to hear the other guy is as well!!

I don't have any experience with Edelbrock... I came here to say that I noticed that really nice towel that the transmission is sitting on.

Happy Birthday USA! Thanks Eric I did have an unexpected service from a company. Conner HDD. I bought a 200gb drive (many years ago) at a festival. it was bad it would not format and clicked when plugged in. Well I called Conner and they gave me a RMA. This was a Thursday. I had a HDD sent to me PRIORITY OVERNIGHT and had the replacement HDD 8 am Friday from California. Who does this? It is amazing that Edelbrock did that for you.

I agree that Edelbrock does care about whether the customer had a good experience or not. It's great that they accumulate data on each contact, discovering problem trends so they can have a solution when called. Efficient.

Being based in New Zealand, I have bought several performance items from an Australian based company for my Holden Commodore SV6HO, Mace Engineering, always great to deal to deal with .

Awesome to hear about Edelbrock. My small story is with Power Probe. I lost the part with the tip that connected to the probe body. So I called Powe Probe to see how much for that part and the rep asked for my address and I gave it to him and he said I ship one right out to you. I asked how much and he said it was on them. Yeah Power Probe.

I have never been impressed by Edelbrock, but not for any concrete reason, just my feeling about the company. When building my performance engine for my 1969 Corvette, I wanted a GM LT1 intake. The Edelbrock Performer seemed to be a competitor intake, so
I favored the GM piece over the Performer.
You’ve changed my mind! Edelbrock went way above and beyond what we consider good company service here. We’re not talking mass market here, but a relatively small market, yet Edelbrock did the right thing for you, for all of us. Well done Eric, and Edelbrock!

Chris Carson's marine service in Florida was so helpful when I put my new reeds in my old 2 stroke. They walked me through exactly how to do it and helped me when I couldn't get them to sit completely flat. I've recommended them to just about everyone that has a 2 stroke outboard

My dad got me started on Edelbrock products 35 years ago when we built our first engine together and I still use many of their products today. Great company and great customer service!
