I'm a Democrat.African-American, have family who has served in every major war since WWI, gun owner, and love America.

But I don't need to plaster the flag on my lawn, truck, everywhere so everyone can see it, or shout other people down as not being Patriots to show others I love America.

For all of my 47 years, it has always felt like if you weren't standing on your head wrapped in a flag, Republicans had a way of making people feel like they don't love the country.

That's my experience or reality. I can't speak for others.
