In this video I go through a brand new feature currently in public preview, Command Designer. The Command Designer allows you to easily use Power Fx to create custom buttons in the command bar. I show how you can show or hide a button in the command bar, using Power Fx. This can be used to extend Model-driven apps even further, using an in-built method to customise the user experience.

Hi Matt, thank you for the video. it looked so easy.
but when i try to go in and e.g. hide buttons it will not allow me to do anything other than creating new buttons? do you know if there has been an update since you made the video?

How we can hide the Activate and Deactivate buttons. Everything is disabled when clicking on Activate or Deactivate

Hi Sir, I want to hide the button based on logged in user security role. Is it possible using fx functions.
When I try using certain table using Display Name they are not available in formula bar

Hello, how do i hide button if user cant edit form or from is new (haven't been saved yet).
I can use isBlank for field like createdon or createdby to check if record is new.
But how do I get smth like formContext.ui.getFormType();
?
