Thats a 128 bit encryption board. New ones are now 256 bit. You need the writer or programmer for each of those.

Even for ham adp would suite fine in most applications. You may get one local whiz but majority have no clue.

Most dealers use a key loader that is the thing that connects the dots you can't hack it or read radio ect to copy said key it's a secure system.

I'm lucky to have a P25 2meter repeater that is bridged to Branddmeister it sounds an works better than DMR

Tell me more about the encryption board! My local PD encrypts everything. I am thinking this board would not help since it's not "in their system", I'm sure it has some sort of ID. But do correct me if I'm wrong.

Mine under radio info on cps says its using a smartnet system not the conventional would this be way i cant get any channels programmed keeps showing read

I wouldn't normally announce my departure like this, it's immature and nobody cares but I'm hoping you larger channels can help change this. I don't want to see shorts in my subscription feed, so I've been ubsubscribing from channels that post more than one a day. Please use your influence to convince YouTube to get these out of the subsciption feeds and on their own tab.
