I remember being told this briefly about her history. I was like WTF this can't be true, a farm girl with no formal training or experience in warfare. Leads a army? I'm surprised more research isn't done on her to revive her life and follow the footsteps of a warrior.

she accomplished so much in such a short amount of time

I like that it was kept totally to the point without all the useless dramatization. Thanks and good job

Lol I like how she got a retrial - posthumously. "Yeah hey, Pope Benedick here...Yeah so I kinda found you not guilty but you're already dead and shit so...Whoops! What can ya do!"

She was a psychic and had direct connection to the angelic realm... many women were burned at the stake from 1400s to 1800... terrible time to be a gifted person

People also called her a witch when she was burned I think. I could be wrong. Honestly, I didn't know she had lived until I real "Horror At The Haunted House" by Peg Kehret. It's about how a girl and her younger brother play in a historical haunted house and she's Joan Of Arc. It's a great book for people who love mystery ghost type books. 10/10.

I can come back for one, but just to clean up, no more combat. Now I get to enjoy what I built.

This is one of the more accurate videos, although it should have mentioned that the tribunal which put her on trial was selected by the English government, as English government records state bluntly, and the members were all pro-English (the judge, Pierre Cauchon, had served as an advisor to the English occupation government for over a decade before the trial). Many of the eyewitnesses said the trial was rigged on false charges, which is one of the reasons the verdict was overturned in 1456. Also, she wasn't an official co-commander., although some of the commanders said they asked her for advice since they believed her to be Divinely inspired.

When you hear stuff like this you say ..." too much missing information ."
Plus some of the major players are not exactly credible.
Need I say more !!

There are several great mistakes. The biggest being: she never lead any army, She was under the command of men who knew how to fight wars (Dunois, and later d'Albret). For all we know she was just on the first line carrying a flag and being on the side of men fighting, giving them courage

She wasn t a great warrior and never pretended to be (during her trial she said she never killed anyone). What she pretended is that if she was around the ennemy didn t stand a chance cause she was sent by God... Sounds like some ppl believed it (and still believe)

she never made any prediction about the outcome of a battle near Orleans (that s just a legend which appared out of thin air)
She wasn t sent to Orleans to fight the english but to keep moral of ppl up (but she pushed ppl there to fight the english what they eventually did)
She wasn t captured fighting the english, but the bourguignons (allied of the english, butthe king of France was trying to make them his own allies, which he managed to achieve -that s actually why he couldn t support Joan of Arc: she wa fighting the men he wanted to ally to-)
