SpaceX is targeting Wednesday, May 24 for Falcon 9’s launch of the ARABSAT BADR-8 mission to a geosynchronous transfer orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Liftoff is targeted for 1:22 a.m. ET (05:22 UTC).

The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched GPS III Space Vehicle 04, GPS III Space Vehicle 05, Inspiration4, Ax-1, Nilesat 301, OneWeb Launch 17, and seven Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the Just Read the Instructions droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

A live webcast of this mission will begin about fifteen minutes prior to liftoff.

14 times....14 TIMES !!! - A rocket has gone to space 14 times and it was done by a commercial company, not by a state or international entity. THAT IS PROGRESS. So happy to be alive at this time.

I admire the way SpaceX is capable of making a decission to scrub the launch, provide the reason for the scrub and then prepare for the next launch attempt. This gives a real feeling of "predictable reuseability". . . . the whole workflow is iterative and repeatable in a finite time span!

Better scrub than RUD! Good luck on your next attempt.🙂

 RUD = Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly

Shame about the scrub but man is that a cool angle, the lightning towers frame the brightly lit Falcon 9 well, the smoke adds so much atmosphere, very aesthetic scene

I love how it's so normal to waste minutes of a video for absolutely no reason at all! What a time to be alive

I wonder what's the actual, real danger of launching a rocket during rain.
Wasn't the Saturn V of the Apollo 12 mission hit by a bolt of lightning while it was climbing up?

it is a very big 'gas station' as you say for spaceships from here and everywhere because oil and petroleum products are useful for all beings
