Have listened to many Military bands, but apart from the pipes, but the thr Royal Marines has the to be the best. I remember the Evening Hym an. sunset Call many years ago conducted by Lft F Vivian Dunn a legend in Royal Marine Music.

South African Army Band Western Cape Cape here. We also have to go from a 5 to 2 man frontage entering and exiting the Castle of Good Hope here in Cape Town. The funny thing is exiting the castle and then realizing the whole sound of the band has changed behind you with guys and gals just filling up any gaps they see after not being able to return to their original position because some dingbat has just slotted in there😂😂😂

Anyone notice that some of the ‘bandsmen’ are actually ‘bandswomen’? British military music schools may well provide one of the best music educations anywhere!
