Here's a fun little toy to play around with.

From one of the true American electronic instrument companies, MOOG !!!

There used to be an event called the "Moogfest" in Asheville until a few years ago. The 2014 was the absolute pinnacle: the entire downtown Asheville was used for events for 3 days, you could pick and choose what you wanted to see. The day events were sessions about hardware design, movies, workshops and Q&A sessions with the performers, at night multiple venues held concerts. Some of the performers I got to see as well as having the privilege to meet in person: Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, Nile Rodgers, Pet Shop boys, Keith Emerson...The Moog showroom was pretty cool to see also. Asheville was a great place to visit, though: for brisket and bbq, come to Texas.🤣

Reminds me of the Science Lab Kits they made for kids back in the 70s. Fun stuff!

There’s an incredible masterpiece by Amin Bhatia called Interstellar Suite.

Made mostly of Moog synthesizers that was helped produce by a Pacharo brother of Toto.

Humongous amounts of soundstaging and imagery.

Wow, what a time trip! I remember Switched-On Back (Wendy Carlos) like it was yesterday - yes I'm old - but it really was Keith Emerson (R.I.P.) that really brought the instrument into front and center of the (prog) music world.
