European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen on Thursday praised efforts by Ukraine to stamp out graft in the wake of several public probes and high-profile dismissals linked to embezzlement. "I'm comforted to see that your anti-corruption bodies are on alert and effective in detecting corruption cases," she told a press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Zelenskyy can't destroy curuption when he is curupt. It doesn't work that way

The US is doing the same thing in Ukraine that we did in South Vietnam: first advisors, then troops on the ground then instituting a draft for all out war. South Vietnam ended with the US withdrawing, defeated, after losing 50, 000 American lives.

not only ukraine has not become less corrupt, EU has become more corrupt itself. so u could say the two are now closer! as a pro-european i am now getting closer to the concept that eu institution needs to disappear and replaced with directly democratic system.

Talking about western standards when EU had a corruption scandal last year. EU do also need to modernise and be better at dealing with corruption. Just look at what corruption has done to Russia, its very dangerous for a country with corruption. People lose fait in the system and people do not get the service they are entitled to.
