Antwerpen Centraal railway station review & trip report on all station service Antwerp - Roosendaal

In this video I'll guide you through the railway station of Antwerpen Centraal (Antwerp Central) and I'll show you the local train (all station service) that runs every hour between Antwerp in Belgium and Roosendaal in The Netherlands. Of course I'll show some views from the train as well.

Trainline is great within serval European countries, you can also purchase several railpasses on the Trainline website. Please do note that especially local regional offers can be better deals, however for easy point to point tickets I personally really prefer Trainline. Antwerp Central is one my favourite stations. Hope to visit it soon.

Antwerpen station is a real mix of historical and modern architecture the cathedral like building on too and the modern station and through tracks beneath aswell with the shopping centre link and metro station I give credit to the orginal designers and the modern designers of the station great job 😊

België: Antwerpen-Centraal en Luik 🙂.

Andere leuke stations vind ik Brussel-Zuid (zeker rush-hour, de bedrijvigheid dan, modernisering van dat station mag er wel eens aankomen, liefst beginnen met doortrekken van perronoverkapping) en Gent-Sint-Pieters (de studentenlevendigheid). Ik ben ook nieuwsgierig naar Bergen wanneer de werken gedaan zijn.

When you took the train to Roosendaal, didn't you noticed that pink small road next to the railroad? That's a bicycle path, or a so called 'fietsostrade' some sort highway for bicycles. Not always noticeble because some times cyclist have to cross the railroad to the other side, that starts from Essen and ends in Antwerp.

De trein rijdt niet meer tot Lille, de NMBS heeft dat metstille trom afgeschaft; je moet nu overstappen in Kortrijk en nogsteeds een kwartier wachten. Dit is een heel trage IC verbinding. En de treinen naar Roosendaal zijn nog trager en bovendien 45 jaar oud

If i remember this correctly this train in not a L-trein but a S-trein. The S32 trein from Roosendaal to Puurs.
