We play this in pep band in college. I remember being at the basketball games, watching the clock tick until the conductor called us up during a timeout, to hurry up and kick this song out before we got yelled at for playing too long. Man, I miss pre-covid times

When I was in band in high school. We had this song as one of our stand tunes at football games.

Funny story. This was a fan favorite for my high school band and we really wanted to play it in the stand at football games but we could never play it right. Our band director removed it from our list of songs. We made a petition to bring it back but he didn't because he knew we would never play it right

This my just be a random composition to most of you, but this song makes me sad. I lived somewhere for 8 years, and grew attached to so many amazing people. Then came the day I moved, VERY far from everybody. I was destroyed, and forced to start at a new school. I was placed into band without consent, and my band teacher didn't feel inclined to teach me, so he stuffed me in the storage closet every day that year. I would sit in there and got lost in my feelings over a girl that had dumped me just before I had moved. I would hear this song play from outside the closet everyday. I felt lost, and trapped with no escape. I'm okay now. I've been through alot but I don't live in hell anymore. This song just brings back really hurtful times 💔
