Welcome to what snow is like. It just makes everything harder to do when feeding goats and other livestock. Glad you are fairing well for something not normal. I got the Workmaster out and plowed snow here in Wright City, MO. Yup I couldn’t imagine living in the far North. Can’t wait for the snow to melt that’s for sure. Stay warm in Texas!

I lived in Salado, TX for 30 years my Dad had a ranch there. Back in the early '80's we had a similar storm but not quite as bad as this one. San Antonio had 12'' of snow. Back in Salado we had a week of below freezing weather. My stock pond froze solid. I can remember getting those Blue Northern's coming in. I was out deer hunting Thanksgiving morning it was 72 degrees when I left the house and by the time I got home that evening it had dropped to 20 degrees and was snowing. I moved to Pennsylvania in Aug.2020 we have had 95.5'' of snow so far this winter. Hey Chris you can add kerosene to your diesel to keep it from gelling. Rule of thumb is 10% so 20 gallons diesel 2 gallons kerosene. Great video

I have my work master tires loaded with rim guard plus 440 lbs of wheel weights. Obviously with where I live next to the Canadian border we have block heaters and winter blend diesel. I have noticed that my hydraulic fluid is super thick and my tractor hydraulics actually locked up. No loader functions, no steering, no three point, started alarming and shut itself down. Dealership thinks the factory fluid is not rated for our extreme cold. Gonna try the shell rotella hydraulic fluid and new filter. Hopefully that fixes the problem.

I live in North Texas and my truck filter gelled even after I treated it with Power Source 911 prior to the hard freezing temps and a full tank of diesel. I didn't treat my New Holland Workmaster 55. It started at 7 degrees after sitting outside and ran like a champ. Used it to plow the snow off my road and a couple of driveways.

I move a ford 1925 compact tractor from south Carolina to upstate new york. In sc it had water and antifreeze from the dealer. They thought I'd be ok. Nope. First cold snap it froze. So it went to my local dealer for rimguard. All our tractors now have that in them.

Ya I farm up in northern bc and ab when its almost always minus 20 to 40 my work master 75 had to always stay in shop even when it was minus 15 it takes like a hour to warm up when outside even with block heater on hydraulic wouldn't move at all or even shift and flash codes every minute because they are not variable flow pumps. Then valve breather froze off and blew out dipstick cap and oil everywhere and then a coolant line wouldn't stop leaking. Had to get all synthetic fluids and dealer installed heater on hydraulic Rez. Thanks For work master vids hopes things warm up again soon for you guys.
