CPE-329 Function Generator using MSP430

CPE-329 Project 2 Function generator. The MSP430 micro controller was used to design the function generator. The system will interface with a 12-bit digital to analog converter (DAC) using Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). The microcontroller will output a total of three different functions, saw, square, and sine wave capable of varying the frequency from 100 Hz to 500 Hz. For the square wave the duty cycle must be able to vary in 10% increments. Three external buttons change the type of wave, frequency and the duty cycle. The button is connected through an I/O pin with the use of a resistor in series and a capacitor in parallel.
