Smartphones or digital sensors don't like overexposure. So better underexpose a little than overexpose.
In general the 1 inch sensor of Vivo is beating the Samsung hands down.

First of all thanks for all the videos of vivo x100 ultra you are the only one who is doing detail camera comparison and testing all the features of the vivo i was really curious ❤ and i would like you to test or even compare the high resolution on Vivo and compare it to iPhone and Samsung portrait and also compare it to Vivo's own portrait and even try to zoom in through the computer as much as possible for quality check 🎉❤❤❤❤❤

Vivo easily wins in terms of natural texture render, but has some strange artifacts on main...and it looks like it's connected to sun/high exposure

THe vivo is overexposing more and loosing more details, the Samsung is overexposing less and keeps more details

The Samsung's photo was brighter to starting with, and when Velian Brightened the image further, it naturally lead to overexposure
THe Vivo's image was darker to start with. This is why after Velian Brightened the image it did not overexpose, because the darker image that Velian started with compensates for the brightening and doesn't overexpose

I think this is unfair in the sense that you used 50 MP for the Vivo but also 50 MP for the Samsung. It's unfair because the Vivo has a 50 MP main cam and if you want a level playing field you can either take shots at 200 MP on the Samsung OR something like 25 MP on the Vivo.

The zoom cams show the same thing but in the opposite manner, both being 50 MP gives Vivo the advantage. Should've taken photos in 12/12.5 MP as these phones are not meant to take full res shots. Their sensors are meant to be used with pixel binning, unlike dedicated cameras.

Only problem is Samsung does not do raw anymore since 2023. just a jpg in a dng container (without any highlight or shadow recovery beyond the capacity of a jpg and no raw based noise removal compatibility). For real raw you need a thirdparty app.

I dont know whats better, on or off?
With on tracking the Eye of one Person and off it can detecte more Faces....
And this Option is also different for Macro Modus...with on you have one Box and off you have many small boxes...i hope you know what i mean... maybe you can give me a tip and whats your setting??

I'm sorry, my friend, but I'm not used to seeing bias in your comparisons, but the 2nd set compared is what I saw, and I honestly don't think you need to behave like this or go down this path... the Vivo has better cameras, but it's not perfect, it never was and never will be... you don't have to hesitate to admit that the Samsung wins here or there.
