Yeah, I took advantage of this deal last week lol Got a brand new Model 3 RWD at $2.5k off and a $7500 EV tax rebate (I checked that I qualify for it as not everyone does). Essentially got this car brand new at $10K off, insane deal. I've had the vehicle since Monday and have absolutely loved driving it around. My friends and co-workers are ecstatic about it as well. Ridiculously good deal as an entry vehicle to EVs or Teslas

Great review, but I really wish there was more on the overall driving impressions. I'm a car enthusiast, so I want to know the visceral reaction when driving the car....not the marginal gains in tech specs.

I live in CA and just went to a Tesla store yesterday. Asked about the 7.5k CVRP and just want to give a quick warning that qualifying for that 7.5k CVRP is rather difficult, it requires you to jump through some housing and income hoops. You're given 2k right off the bat if you make less than 135k, but to qualify for the increased 7.5k rebate, you HAVE to be a single resident living on your own making less than ~54k (which goes up based on the amount of people who live in your household). You might be thinking "thats me!" but if it is you may not pay enough taxes to take advantage of the full 7.5k federal tax credit. Essentially, you'd have to make between 50k-54k yearly to take advantage of this, which is pretty tough if you're also living alone. If you make less than that, you're not paying enough taxes to take advantage of all the federal tax credit.

Its a great offer but in reality it's pretty niche. Still a great deal but it is a bit disingenuous to say that its available to everyone. Most people will instead just qualify for the $7.5k federal tax credit and the 2k CVRP though, which is already fantastic.

I ordered my RWD LFP Model 3 on Aug 28 and picked up on Sept 12.
I ordered an existing inventory model ($39300) with $4000 off (NJ incentive), $7500 Fed tax credit and the savings compared to what i spent on gas (2018 Infiniti Q50 3.0 T). It made a lot of sense to get it. I absolutely live this car.

I’ve had my eye on it. In Colorado the state incentive goes from 2k to 5 k on July 1st. So I will wait until then. I also will probably wait until the new model is announced to see if they drop the price on 2023 inventory further. 🤞🏻

I'm shopping on value. With the 4k Illinois rebate coming back on July 1, the RWD Model 3 is actually cheaper than a new Prius. I prefer the look of Highland and the front bumper camera would allow for a 360 camera view, but I ultimately just want a reliable car with supercharger access. Plus, I'd be worried buying the first generation after a major refresh.

I got a model 3 performance from inventory for 3250 off. I saw some used ones at dealership that are more expensive than buying a brand new one. At the Toyota near me they are selling a used 2, 000miles 2023 red model 3 performance for $59, 990
