We travelled 300km one way to visit the Park, bringing a visitor from America along. That was in 1998. As soon as our braai fire was lit, a minibus with youths stopped and twenty-odd guys spilled out, very noisily, and emptied two large bins fklled with cans of beer. They were rowdy, rude and our day was spoiled. We never visited our regular old haunt again.

This is no longer the case. There are no animals to be seen. NO ANIMALS. Except the breaking down type. I was there last weekend.
