I have an un-based commander deck and played squirrel dealer while at my lgs. I asked a dude playing some miniature game off in the back of the room and he didnt say a word, he simply reached into his tool box full of minis and brought over an armored squirrel miniature for me to use as my token and that was one of my most glorious memories in magic the gathering.

Rule mistake though: As Luck Would Have It does not count the extra dice from Krark's Other Thumb, just the one that is kept. Exact ruling from gatherer is "The ignored roll never happened as far as any other cards are concerned."
