Waitangi Day is the national day of New Zealand. It commemorates the treaty of Waitangi, signed on 6 February 1840, between the British Crown and Maori Chiefs.
To celebrate Waitangi day 2020 I’ve arranged six New Zealand songs for piano. Enjoy on your day off.
This one is the New Zealand national anthem. I always find it a stirring tune. When they sing it twice, getting pumped up more each time, then follow it up with the haka, of course you know the All Blacks are going to smash someone.
