Red Hat angered most of the Linux community last week. That's sad. I'm giving away my book. That's more like it!

Putting your money where your mouth is, respect to that Jeff!

Being an actual RedHat customer for RHEL they had the nerve to ask me yesterday for feedback; "Based on your experience with Red Hat, how likely are you to recommend us to a colleague or business associate?" That got a zero out of ten, for "Not at all likely"

Pfffft. free as in I’m spending $10 because you deserve that and more for the work you do.

A year ago, I got an internship as system integrator and they handed me your book to learn about Ansible. Since then, I have fallen in love with it, so much so that I even use it privately. That's also how I found out about your channel and I couldn't be more happy that I did. It's really sad to see what Red Hat has been pulling off recently.

Jeff, with this you’re actually contributing more to the growth of their Ansible product line than themselves after the recent events 😅

I'm not even mad that I already own a copy, and had I not I would have gladly bought one as soon as I saw this short, even if available for free.
Kudos to you Jeff. And thanks for all of your content and contributions.

It's great of you to lead by example. Hopefully IBM&Co learn a thing or two about how to properly treat their community.

Its the modern cooperate greed dogma of "We are loosing money because we are not making as much as we could", rather than the traditional definition for loosing money meaning "operating in the red"

That’s very wholesome, Jeff. Contributing to something you believe and relying on voluntary contributions is a better approach to a lot of stuff out there, IMO.

Bought this book many years ago. I also use some of Jeff's work at my company for production systems. Agree 100 percent with this position!

I asked a redhat consultant that I was working with a few months ago if they had any resources for learning ansible, and his recommendation was your Ansible 101 series. They are already leaning on your resources to improve the accessibility of their product (as they should, you have made a great, free resource).

Love you, Jeff. Your channel and blog have been AMAZING resources for my home lab journey. I also bought a physical copy as another way to support the cause.

You're a beautiful soul. This is the spirit I wish more of the tech industry was built on right here, knowledge for the betterment of the whole!! I wish you the best, cheers!

Thank you, Jeff, for this gift! 🎁📖 Your evidently comprehensive book will certainly help me get started with Ansible. And will serve as a great, practical reference (with the accompanying source code) next to the official documentation. 🙏

I picked up this book & a uacadamy course from David & Chris all with in 24hrs for free! 2 courses and a book. My luck has gotten better. Lol. Seriously though. I work 7 days a week bust my a$$ trying to feed my family and I work 1:30 minutes away from the house. I enjoy learning and I want to thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.
