Thanks for the kind words! The snare is tuned very tight on the bottom and medium-tight on top. Tiny piece of gel is on it as well to control some of the overtones. Hope that helps!

Poor choice in music for the intro. The sounds don't layer well and it sounds like he is off.

I personally like the long lesson as long as I have the data usage. I don't have an unlimited plan. Playing rock music most of my life, I really appreciate the different styles of drumming. I've leaned alot and to me if you ever stop learning, well then you need to hang it up. Keep up the good work!

I totally agree on this one. I know of some really popular metal-bands where the drumming isnt recorded but instead programmed and many (not all) of these bands have a much simpler or sloppy live drumming. You can´t judge a band by hearing an album, you really have to see the live performance.
