Another of our favourites from last year: Radiohead's Black Star, with a little influence from Gillian Welch's incredible cover!
Recorded in the beautiful Alix Goolden Hall, with video by Matt Miles, audio recorded by Jody Johnson and James Humberstone and mixed/mastered by Zach Schultz.

Victoria BC's The Choir is a non-auditioned community choir, directed by Marc Jenkins and accompanied by Danuel Tate, and sponsored by Larsen Music.

Magnificent cover. I hope every Radiohead fan out there is as lucky as I am to stumble on this gem.

Holy crap! When the pianist stops at “that point”, the longing, the desire just adds to the meaning. Gorgeous.

To hear so many voices, so many people singing the same wonderful song together is a huge thrill. We are all united in front of the beauty of a music that knows no time and that in some way is as if it has always lived in each of us.

I absolutely love it...yet I am also laughing in confirmation. The songs of the popular music era will be that we eventually got to a point where we were all writing apocalyptic versions of all types of songs and then we covered them in another apocalyptic tone - even our love or heartbreak songs.

I hate this beautiful sublime piece of music. Its too real and honest and from that first line it stings. When it gets to the chorus it's like remembering sitting on the stairs in the apartment and wishing the world would fade to black, credits would begin to roll as the song plays. Just an end would have been better than the sense of hopelessness that filled those months. This truly is a masterpiece of a song and this interpretation takes things to another level of emotional impact.

Great version of an overlooked Radiohead classic. Thanks for doing it justice.
Would love to hear your take on Weird Fishes and/or Karma Police.

An absolutely stunning cover and performance of what I feel is a tragically underrated Radiohead song! It blows me away how everyone involved with this performance was able to see and convey the beauty within this song in such a unique and different way! 😊

This really is incredible. Captures the emotion of the song perfectly. My soul has been touched. It is a crime that this only has a 1000 views.

Every single time. I feel for the Mays. I feel for the audience. I have zero clue how his band mates remained composed. And this comes after years of revisiting this. My goodness. Rest in Peace.
