I’m surprised it’s not a common practice for people to wear shorts. As someone who, even as a little girl, always wore pants or biker shorts under my skirt. I thought it was a normal everyday thing for people who wear skirts, even if they’re knee length. I thought not having biker shorts on when wearing skirts was only something made for anime fan service 😭 if I don’t wear shorts while wearing a skirt or a dress, no matter how long, I feel naked down there

I always wear shorts under any dresses. They could be knee length or ankle length or even come up to my thighs. I’m not risking flashing for everyone under any circumstances 😭

For me, what I usually do if a skirt is too short, is layer another skirt underneath, and let it show so it looks like it’s just a ruffle and it’s intentional, it helps if the color matches well. Like a white or black would go with this, it would just look like a tiered skirt. I honestly like that much better bc personally I hate the look of shorts being visible underneath a skirt cuz I feel like the whole purpose is for it to not be visible. That’s just my opinion tho, to each their own
