Synopsis:
The USS COLORADO is ordered to fire its nuclear weapons at Pakistan. But when the captain refuses to launch without confirmation, the sub is attacked as a renegade. Fleeing to a remote island, the crew seeks out refuge while trying to clear their names.

I am one of these women, I went to Cornell University and majored in Biology where I took Physics, Orgo, Biochem etc... I am smart and I don't hate this show. As I said in the review I think it would be best if it took place on the Submarine instead of turning into another show like Lost with people trapped on an Island. It goes from being original to being a copycat show. Leah is a Phd candidate. So she's pretty darn bright as well.

I respect the reviewers' opinions, but I disagree with their summary and concern for the direction of the show - absolutely not another Lost. No storyline is perfect... but Last Resport this is one of the Best Dramas across All the Networks! I am on the edge of my seat every week - engaged in the characters and the action!!

So please don't rely on other's views to shape your opinion of a show, movie, book, etc... experience it for yourself. Then check out the reviews!! Cheers!

Mine's not based off of there discussion....I'm just saying the trailer doesn't make it look to entertaining. At least not for me. But, who knows, I'll wait for the premier.

I don't like horror movies so I'd probably make a bad horror movie critic. Why are you reviewing a genre you obviously don't like? If your on the fence about watching this pilot don't listen to negative reviews. Just watch it for yourself. I usually don't like shows on abc but this one is great so far.

I think they don't understand the genre. They are looking for conventional network comedy show or something similar. This to me was an action drama -- and so deep character development isn't so important right away. RE the female characters I found Grace to be a strong female character. Don't get all the Lost comparisons. I loved the pilot but am worried about where the show will go.

I know the show is cancelled, but my points here are about those 3, the girl on the left of the screen needs to take a chill pill.

It is ridiculous to even associate this show to Lost. How the hell did they come up with that is beyond me.

And having women review this show is just wrong, it's like having 3 men reviewing the twilight movies.

Nothing against women, yourselves the question, why are there 3 women reviewing a show that just screams adrenaline and masculinity(the show's first few scenes already highlight the battle for a woman's respect within "a man's domain"). These reviewers dont have to like the show of course, but calling it mean REALLY? Its freaking nuclear war....and you call it dull? The only thing dull i can see here is the reviewers.

Oh well. Yet ANOTHER great show that the network refused to get behind and let develop. Seems like the only networks that will support a good program are on cable.
This review was WAY off-base, completely missing the mark. Shame.

Dull?..I actually applauded, on my couch after the conclusion of the pilot. These people are poor reviewers. Thumbs Down!

Ben and Kate is my least favorite show and I would not advise anyone to see it. I don't think this is an awful show-- I just think it's trying to copy Lost
