oh man i loved this song as a preteen growing up in the 80's was pure joy. i would listen to this alone in my room. what great times to be a youth in the early 80's.

Glad you've got the right version. Everyone on here seems to think that OMD's Maid of Orleans and Joan of Arc are one the same. Because of the confusion, this song gets forgotten. This was just as big a hit as Maid of Orleans

I have to avoid this song and their song souvenir after a bottle of wine else there will be tears, imo this band are the very best of the 80s bands and are 2 absolutely lovely blokes, we are very lucky to still have such amazing ppl in this world with us.
